Remote Windows Security


    Introduction

    Remote Windows Security was introduced in Right Click Tools version 4.5.2012. Remote Windows Security puts allows you to see important Security Information from inside the ConfigMgr console.

    Bitlocker

    With the Bitlocker tab, you can see the current protection status for the various drives in the selected computer(s)

    • Which drive letter is the information regarding
    • What is the protection status for this drive?
    • What is the Encryption Method for this drive?
    • What is the Conversion Status for this drive?
    • What Key Protectors are being used for this drive?
    • What is the volume type for this drive?
    • How many devices are part of this selection?

    BitLocker

    TPM

    The TPM tab shows information about the status of the TPM in your selected computer(s)

    • What is the Trusted Computing Group (TCG) Version?
    • Is the TPM Activated?
    • Is the TPM Enabled?
    • Does the OS own the TPM?
    • Is the TPM ready?
    • How many devices are part of this selection?

    TPM

    Firmware

    The Firmware tab shows information about specific security settings related to the security of the computer(s) you have selected.

    • Is UEFI enabled
    • Is SecureBoot enabled?
    • How many devices are part of this selection?

    Virtualization-Based Security

    The Virtualization-Based Security tab shows information about the Virtualization-Based Security for the computer(s) you have selected.

    • Is Virtualization-Based Security Enabled?
    • Are the Platform Security Features Enabled?
    • Is Credential Guard Enabled?
    • Is System Guard Enabled?
    • How many devices are part of this selection?

    VBS

    Defender

    The Defender tab shows information about the status of Windows Defender Antivirus on the computer(s) you have selected.

    • Is Defender protection enabled?
    • Is real-time protection enabled?
    • What is the currently installed antivirus signature version?
    • What is the currently installed Defender client version?
    • What is the current Defender engine version that is installed?
    • How many devices are part of this selection?

    In addition you can see the following information for each of the computers that you selected when running Remote Windows Security.

    • When was the last signature update?
    • When was the last full scan completed?
    • When was the last quick scan completed?

    Defender Exclusions

    The Defender Exclusions tab shows information about the Defender Exclusions that have been applied to the computer(s) you have selected.

    The Windows Firewall tab shows information about the Windows Firewall for the computer(s) you have selected.

    It is split into three sections, which show if the profiles have been enabled or not.
